You don’t need a group to start your sailing journey. With Saronic Sails RYA Training Center, you can join as an individual and become part of a small, international crew sharing the same passion for sailing.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to advance your skills, our individual participation option allows you to experience structured RYA training while meeting like-minded people and exploring the Saronic Islands.
Individual participation means joining a scheduled RYA course on board a fully equipped training yacht.
You’ll train alongside a small group (max 5 students per instructor), ensuring:
- Personalised instruction
- Hands-on learning
- A collaborative and social onboard environment
It’s the perfect balance between professional training and shared adventure.
You can join individually in all main RYA practical courses:
Beginner to Advanced Path
- RYA Competent Crew – Start from zero and learn the basics LEARN MORE

All courses are liveaboard, meaning you live and train on the yacht throughout the week.
During your training, you will:
✔️ Actively participate in all sailing activities
✔️ Rotate between roles (helm, navigation, crew)
✔️ Practice real-life sailing decisions
✔️ Sail across the Saronic Gulf
✔️ Visit islands like Aegina, Poros, Hydra & Epidavros
Training runs daily, combining:
- Practical sailing
- Navigation exercises
- Safety drills
- Night sailing (depending on level)

- Low Season: €1,050
- Mid Season: €1,150
- High Season: €1,250
Pricing applies to all main practical courses (Competent Crew, Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper).
