The Saronic Sails RYA Training Center provides structured sailing training based on the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) system, combining theory and practical experience onboard.
The program builds on the experience of Aegean Mode, now integrated into Saronic Sails under the umbrella of IonianMode training center.
The training center is based in the Nea Peramos | Athenic Marina for sailing in Saronic Gulf at our base in the Saronic Sails providing direct access to a wide range of sailing routes and conditions.
All courses follow the RYA syllabus, an internationally recognized system that provides a clear progression from beginner to professional level.

All practical courses take place onboard fully equipped sailing yachts that meet RYA standards and safety requirements.
Participants live onboard for the duration of the course, using the yacht as both accommodation and training environment.
Training is intensive and typically runs daily from morning to evening, with breaks for lunch, swimming, and rest.
Each week includes:
- Navigation exercises
- Sail handling practice
- Safety drills
- Night sailing (depending on level)
- Visits to multiple ports and anchorages
Participants usually cover significant distances and experience a variety of sailing conditions during the course
